Through the Cut

An idea thats been rolling around in my head for a couple months now.  mostly an experiment to try to get more by describing less, and to get more texture into digital painting.  All in all I really like the way this one came out...

Yep, havent painted a miniature in 3-4 years, so nice to get back into it.  This is a Sorylian Cruiser from Firestorm Armada.
